The Band MOON asked me to do their digipack for the upcoming Album The Rising” in 2010. They also wanted to have a new logo witch does not refer in any way to the moon. I created a simple but concise sign that would be easy to remember. Saidly they didn’t chose this design at all. Website
Astrum was an other project i did while study. It deals with the illusion of todays constellations. I created six new constellations on the existing pattern of the night sky every thing was collected in a small booklet and a map which should help finding those new constellation.
This brochure was made while studies on “signage systems”. It includes my results in a short text divided, besides a intro, in four parts: colouration, pictorgamm, shield, typografie. Every part is based on scientific findings and gives advises about the useage in a signage systeme. Text is illustrated with some markable examples. Printed on Din A2, Hardcover. In 2009 i created a small cd bag for a band called “that the phunk”. I came up with the idea to make this look like a letter or a small package. An outher little nice feature is that they wrote the title by hand on every cd bag to gave each a little individual touch. Only 150 were printed. The Dont Shave your Beard Tour took place in south Germany in 2011. I was asked to do the entire artwork including flyers, poster, sticker etc. Headliners were An Act of Grace and Entomb the Machine.
This it the album artwork for the debut Ep from a german metalband called “An Act of Grace”. Including a 8 page booklet with lyrics and some informations such as contact, merch, booking. The illustration on the front was drawn by hand. Purchase it here: BigCartel
